He is a permanent musician (as contrabassist) in the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice. He has cooperated, among others, with the Belcea Quartet, {oh!} Orchestra, Silesian Quartet, Le Po\u00e8me Harmonique and Bachakademie Stuttgart. Krzysztof Firlus is a laureate of numerous foreign and national competitions. Among his many recordings is the first Polish solo viola da gamba album Gamba Sonatas<\/em>, recorded with his wife, Anna Firlus; C.F. Abel \u2013 Sonatas from the Maltzan Collection<\/em>; R\u00e9flexions <\/em>with contemporary music composed for him by Adrian Robak as well as three-disc CD with premiere recordings of Joseph Marchand\u2019s suites and Portraits \u2013 Les Caract\u00e8res Fran\u00e7ais <\/em>(Clef d\u2019or Res Musica award 2023) with the {oh!} Trio, which he forms with Martyna Pastuszka and Anna Firlus.
